No matter how noble or base the nature of any given system no matter the premise or principles evoked by its name whatever its ism its archy its ocracy the pillars of politics have always been the same: delusion deceit corruption hypocrisy all natural attractants for an incurably duplicitous breed of distinguished lowlifes obsessed — as only such wretches can be — with wielding control and amassing prestige; magnets for a pathologically ambitious breed forever under the unwavering sway of a lust for power as insatiable as greed.

Pillars indeed. I picture those noble buildings. Ocracies do seem to start out with high and noble intentions....but yes, all too soon they become magnets for parasitic and opportunistic psycho-philanthropathic octopi who can never get or have enough, and are always looking to destroy anyone who challenges them. But they and their works, like most that have come before, will also crumble to dust.
